Dear Friends:

There is one remedy against the Babel Syndrome, there is one thing that will allow people to break their fixation away from their immediate needs, only one thing will take people out of their one dimensional mind and make them fluid enough to shift their awareness from one level to another; the one thing is for them to take their needs and focus them deliberately on a higher level of consciousness; literally cast their cares upon God.

"Cast all Your Cares Upon Him"
a simple solution to a complex problem

This is an attempt to simplify the theory of human motivation, as it is applied to a collective group of people, the third world. This is an attempt to explain the driving force behind the human conditions that exist in the third world. I want to explain why poverty and social decays prevalent in the third world. There is a mental state or a certain disposition of mind that is typical to the third world, a kind of third world mentality, a sort of mental condition that I named the Babel syndrome. It is characterized by a state of fixation that reduces our cognitive ability, our ability to perceive reality as it is, to see things in our world that demand our attention, to adjust and conform to the demands of our world.

Fixation: causes attention deficit

Poverty and social stagnation in the third world are direct consequences of our preoccupation with our lowest needs. In this state of mind, our consciousness is not free to react to other things accept to the need that it is fixated on. One remedy for this dilemma is for us to cast all our care upon a higher power. Thus takes our awareness away from ourselves and free ourselves to explore other needs and adjust ourselves to the demands of our environments. The lowest of human needs preoccupy our consciousness, preventing us from venturing and expend our awareness to other needs; consequently we create and live in a world that reflects our awareness. The third world is similar to a classroom, whereas everyone is functioning at the same level, all taking one course, fixated and driven by a single human need. They perceive the world trough that need and relate to every one trough the limitation of that need. The underlining motivation that drives the human consciousness in the third world is a state of fixation. The third world problem is that our consciousness is fixated on a single need, usually the need for subsistence or procreation, security, or power excluding other levels of needs or awareness. This state of fixation impedes our cognitive ability and our intuitive capability and makes it impossible for us to perceive and understand things in our world. The only way for us to overcome this dilemma is to learn to cast all our cares upon a higher consciousness, Jesus. By casting all our cares upon Him we become free to explore other levels of awareness, where we can express our creativity, express ourselves from a level of love and compassion. There is a relationship between our level of awareness and the need that our consciousness is fixated on. If we were free to roam the whole scale of human needs we would be fluid and flexible will to take the leap of faith to new adventure. We would not be so resistant to change.
